Item 1 - Highland flour is made from a carefully selected variety of wheat from the volcanic uplands of the Malwa plateau. The soil in the Malwa region is rich in potash, therefore cultivation of TWF's Highland wheat requires minimal fertilizer use. This specific variety of wheat has the apt mix of essential proteins and starch which yields soft rotis while maintaining a sweet, aromatic flavor profile.
Item 2 - Indie flour comes from an indigenous wheat from the Indo-Gangetic plains – which yields itself perfectly for Indian flat breads. These wheat kernels were cultivated without the use of any chemical fertilizers, pesticides or insecticides. The farms and the wheat are both certified as 100% organic by USDA and India Organic.
Item 3 - The Reliq flour finds its lineage in a 10,000 year old wheat strain which remains uncompromised by modern hybridization or artificial breeding. Cultivated using traditional organic practices in select farms in the Deccan plateau, this wheat has retained its authentic flavor and nutrition profile. Reliq flour has the highest mineral, antioxidant and fiber content of any wheat flours. It is also naturally low in gluten and has a low GI value. Naturally rich in fiber, vitamins like Vitamin B, Vitamin C and Vitamin E and minerals like Zinc, Calcium, Iron, Magnesium, Phosphorus, Copper, Selenium and other nutrients such as folic acid, protein, Omega3 and Omega6.
