Gulab jamun, or Gulaab jamun, is a milk-solids-based sweet mithai, popular in countries in South Asia, in particular in India, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Pakistan and Bangladesh. Popular Indian dessert of fried dumplings soaked (dipped) in rose scented sugar syrup.
